Immersive

Extraordinary spaces, engineered for permanence.

Real-time, interactive art at architectural scale. Lightpath OS is the platform behind the projection, lighting, sound, and sensors, and it runs the piece for years, not one opening night.

The promise

The hard part isn't building it. It's keeping it alive for years.

Lightpath OS runs your centerpiece continuously for years, reprograms it seasonally, and hands operation to people who never open a creative tool.

  • 01

    Any medium, any geometry

Projection, LED, spatial audio, sensors, real-time generative content. Any hardware, any shape. Lightpath OS ties best-in-class engines together under one platform.

  • 02

    Real-time and interactive

The space responds: presence, motion, weather, live data, LiDAR. Content is generated in real time, not looped from a file.

  • 03

    Built for permanence

Monitored continuously, recovers itself after a glitch, reskins in a browser. It runs the same on day two thousand as on day one.

  • 04

    One platform orchestrating it all

Content, mapping, scheduling, control, and monitoring in one system a team can actually run.

The stack it orchestrates

Case study

Interactive projection, lighting, and spatial sound, as one experience.

The Lagunitas Experience is a permanent narrative-driven installation in Northern California: projection, architectural lighting, and 3D spatial audio, all real-time interactive, driven by live LiDAR and sensor data, all orchestrated by Lightpath OS. It demonstrates how Lightpath OS operates at scale, sitting at the heart of an ecosystem of other best-in-class systems. A team relies on Lightpath OS to keep the installations running at 100% year-round.

14Projectors (12 small + 2 large)
5LiDAR sensors driving live interactivity
60+Devices monitored end to end
20+Speakers playing 3D spatial audio
1Platform orchestrating it all

The stack, and how it fits together

  • Lightpath OS: pixel mapping, orchestration, and the control UI. The brain of the install.
  • Unreal Engine: real-time rendering.
  • Modulo Pi: projection mapping.
  • Spatial Sound: 3D multi-channel audio.
  • TouchDesigner: ingests and processes live Ouster LiDAR feeds into interactive, generative content, with Lightpath OS coordinating sensor tracking across Unreal, Modulo Pi, and TouchDesigner.

In daily operation

01

Monitored end to end

60+ devices are monitored with alerts, so problems get caught before anyone notices.

02

Verify mapping remotely

a live feed of the projection mapping streams straight to the browser so the operators can check the real-world results remotely.

03

On-site control

an on-site iPad runs the interface for staff.
